AZIREVPN REVIEW 2024 – Good or not ?

AZIREVPN:

azirevpn

Today we’re checking out a smaller VPN provider that I’ve never looked at before, it’s called AZIREVPN, it’s sort of based in Switzerland, definitely smaller, more European, but I wanted to take a look, and see if we could stack up.

So the pricing page for our VPN, for some reason it doesn’t give you the option to customize it for you know US dollars, we see some sites like err VPN, mainly food tours for the British.

But they always give you the opportunity to convert it, there is no option to do so, and that says a little about the volume of this service as a whole, it is a kind of niche maybe just for European users, but even that extremely limited.

We have seen server support, or we will see server support later, there are not many to choose from, but in device conditions you get five devices, for a month and all the other plans.

So they are not you know restricting the use of devices, you have unlimited access to everything, but we have five euros a month for a month, you know I will be around 67 dollars, not too bad in fact, we have you know the month which is going to be 45, you know maybe 50 plus USD again, it’s not a bad price at all.

I really liked this tariff plan, you have a different number of options to choose from, and each one is a very good price, you also have different payment options, so it’s pretty good but you know, we’re going to have to think about you know, what you get for this affordable price.

We don’t get that many places, nothing really special, in terms of features necessarily either, so here’s what the apps will look like.

Now this is probably one of the simplest applications, that you will be able to find for a VPN that is like current, you know that we have legacy VPN providers, older ones like BT guard, some of these VPN providers that have always existed they have super basic applications, you know that many current VPN providers that are also old have up to and recycling applications, but this one, you know, although it has a decent color palette and it looks good.

It will not provide you with as many features, everything that really allows you to connect, to a very limited selection of servers, we have a good amount of protocols available, but we don’t see any protocol like IP, to support it, we don’t really see much, we see a little customization of ports there, we don’t see much, like a proxy kill switch, supports different automatic connection features, different types of connection features.

So this is definitely one of the most limited applications, it’s not a big fan of it, it requires you to enter your password every time, just to log in and as I said.

It will somehow be forced into the taskbar, so not so impressive either.

So people who are testing AZIREVPN, you can see that my speeds are not so good, you can see them connected, I can’t really get the application to appear, once it is connected, it reminds me a little of the old private Internet access interface.

But even the private Internet access interface, like your VPN, is kind of like a stock there, and the taskbar which is a bit annoying.

But anyway, in terms of speed are not very impressive, usually without a VPN, I have a ping around 10 m/s, the download rate is about 500 megabits per second.

The download is about 20, so it’s not very good speeds at all.
Usually with the fast VPN I can’t expect anywhere, between 250 and 300 megabits per second, with the Bing somewhere around 30 m/s, so not the best.

Let’s test the torn downloads, to see what kind of speeds we can get there, test the speeds, you know that most mediocre VPNs slow VPNs, run around 1 to 3 megabits per second, this one gets a little lower.

Most of the time, it’s not very fast, for sure you can see them connected, I’m not making this up, but these are the speeds that you will be able to get.

So really slow speed test download rates, really slow for torrent too, I usually get about 30 to 40 without VPN, sometimes with fast VPNs, like you get 25 to 35 megabytes per second, downloading with something like tor guard or expressvpn.

But it just won’t be fast enough, for me to download things at a fast speed, as you can see, it happens very slowly.

You know the download, the time to download the actual application, it took about 20 minutes to download as a file, of 30 megabytes from their website.

So I’m not sure what’s going on there, maybe they have slow servers that send the downloads, it’s never really happened to me.

Previously, which is interesting, annoying, but let’s be clear, it took 30 minutes to download this file to start the VPN, so it was definitely annoying.

Now in terms of privacy policy, maybe this is an area where, as there was VPN excelle, they kind of make a special case that they own all their servers, they don’t use any others.

You know what is credible, since they are such a smaller VPN provider, you know they can do it, you know I don’t know how sustainable it can be, or credible for a VPN provider that has a huge network of servers.

You know, I think there’s the possibility of being a bigger VPN provider, and using these kinds of other services while choosing good third-party hosting providers, and stuff like that, doing your due diligence, and making sure that you choose good ones that you know.

So I think there’s kind of like a middle ground, but it’s like if you know VPN provider, who strictly chooses their own type of content to use, and what kind of shows on which there is a limited service to choose, but you know that maybe it’s more trustworthy, it kind of depends on you because your VPN.

Don’t really collect a lot of newspapers, they are based in Sweden if that’s important to you.

So a very good, trustworthy company, so you know that with a lot of these small VPN providers, they don’t have live chat, they have, you know, team tickets, support tickets can be sent by e-mail.

You could probably expect to respond, we do one to two days, so it may take a while to get help, but they have it available of course, they are not going to get five out of five.

Because they don’t have this immediate satisfaction, to talk to a live person, so people are not really surprising of course, because your VPN doesn’t really have support for Netflix, or any other streaming service, it’s just that you know that you expect, that these small VPN providers that you don’t know, have this corner of the market really necessarily.

They don’t really always care about you, you know, restrictions and unblocking and stuff like that, you know it’s kind of like another component of the VPN, you know, but this one seems more focused on privacy, and stuff like that.

So, it will not be the best use of the VPN, if you want to watch any streaming service.

So for the final note, because your VPN is going to work very well in certain categories, it’s really good for its pricing model, it’s very cheap, very affordable not only that, but the reputation is pretty solid, and they have all their servers, they haven’t had any major problems, or leaks overall.

They are a good VPN provider in terms of price and reputation, but they are almost insufficient in all other categories, it is simply too small, you may know that if you live in a specific region, maybe you will get correct speeds, maybe if you are in a specific area, you only want to use one server, but as a full VPN provider.

The application is simply too simple, limited and clumsy to use, I also found the same things with the website, it’s a bit clumsy to use, and it’s a bit cumbersome there’s actually no forget username feature, so I forgot my username and I had to like downloading some kind of file, to just look at my old username, not only that the speeds were also very poor for my tests, and it won’t work with any of the streaming services.

Which is definitely a disappointment in 2020, since then we have seen many more VPNs that support this kind of feature.

Conclusion :

So overall, it will be four out of five on the VPN to your list, which makes it a Level three VPN.
