Sky Stream :
Iptv Sky stream, is a standalone configuration box that essentially uses Sky Glass technology, but in a small box, it is designed for people who cannot have a satellite dish installed, but want to keep their existing Sky tv.
The Sky Stream box, and it is for Sky multi room unlike the sk yq.
With the sky q mini, these boxes are both identical and they can work independently, so let’s move on to unpacking.
So at first glance, we have the box and the remote control there are a few buttons missing on this remote control, they have the label to be removed so that the batteries work, they put the batteries inside the remote control itself, and not on the side obviously to save space in the packaging.
And you have the sky Stream box, they call it a pug, it’s like a half-up Apple TV BOX, you have your RF connector, your Ethernet, your HDMI and your power jack, and you have the cool Sky logo right there, it looks a lot like an Apple product color.
It’s a completely empty space, they could have put the batteries in there separately if they really wanted to, and under the Pug where it is, you have a charger cable, it looks like it’s a USB cable, but probably not.
It looks like my phone charger HDMI cable, which you have the pink end that goes into the sky stream itself, and the black end goes into the TV, but it doesn’t really matter, it works both ways.
Because we all know that it is very difficult to remove this power cable from the box, it is as if they want you to damage the packaging, it is a single solid piece, it is not USB, so just a little reworking.

So when the Sky stream accumulates for the first time, it starts at 720p at 50 hertz and this is perfectly normal, there is nothing wrong with your box, it will then switch to 108p and once the configuration is complete, you will then have to change it if you have a 4K TV at 2160p, it does not change natively.
So the box is a 4K unit, but for some reason they cap it at 1080p, I guess most TVs all support Full HD.
Now 1080p, so they’re doing it just to avoid any problems, but if it’s a smart device normally, they should be able to detect what your TV is capable of, but it’s just something that’s not here or there, but you have to make sure.
Scroll down to settings and go to to get the maximum image quality from your TV. ok hello welcome to Sky stream Puck.
Now logged in, then you click continue.
Connect your remote control, if you want the remote control to control the volume of your TV, and turn your TV on and off obviously yes okay, let’s just check if my volume is working and yes it works so I press yes.
Now it’s asking great your remote control is controlling, now the volume of your TV turn off and turn on your TV would you like to know if you have a soundar, I don’t have one connected, so I’m going to press no but if you obviously clicked yes.
You are now logged in complete the configuration and stop your Sky Stream account, it says hello your name and we link your account confirming yes, and indicates that your acceptance of the terms and conditions yes, create your pinned.
Now, this is obviously to prevent people from shopping, or seeing things they shouldn’t for the age as far as the content pin settings, just go ahead or change them, because pinning for daytime viewing, I don’t need it.
The graphics are very similar to what you have on Sky Go, and of course what you have on Sky TV glass because it is the same interface that scrolls down.
The very first thing you want to do, is enter the settings, switch to the image quality it’s 1080p switch to 2160 only do it if your TV is a 4K unit, 4K TV so it’s okay if it’s not 4K, it will automatically come back because your screen would go blank.
So you have some content, obviously we have Prime BBC High player, all the content that has been shown that people are watching at the moment TV shows, movies, sports, children’s news, audio and music, fitness and International TV Guide, so you have arrived there, which is currently on.
We click on the TV Guide, click on all the channels, scroll down BBC London HD BC 2 HD ITV HD, so that they have all five standard channels plus additional HD channels, which you can’t get on the other Sky platforms such as five action HD and pck TV HD how about it’s not only exclusive to Sky glass, it’s also on Sky stream five action HD and all the rest of them in HD.
You even have the channel 4 HD channels, the music channels for some reason are still not in HD, but I don’t know why it’s not like we’re not used to watching them in HD on YouTube.
Conclusion :
Some Ultra HD channels, but again streaming, they haven’t launched it on satellite TV yet, and I don’t think they will at all.
