Today I have a product from tanggula, it is tanggula X5 Pro Edition 20124, and it is an iptv streaming box based on Android, it will allow you to watch live TV, movies and TV series, and it runs on Android OS, is it the best iptv streaming box of 2024.
Okay so let’s take a look, at everything that once you take it out of the box, that’s what you’re going to get of course, you’re going to get the TV box itself, which is quite small and compact, you’re going to get documentation for the box itself, a user manual which is just a bit of a quick start guide, then a complete guide too, showing you how to set up your WiFi, set up on the Internet so that you’re ready to go.
And you get a complete user guide, in color it’s not a micro print, it’s going to be easy to read, and it’s a nice reference, you can use to get started with the X5 Pro.
Now you have a cylindrical ac2 socket, for the power supply for the X5 Pro, quite explicit easy to connect no problem, whatever you get a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi antenna that screws on the back of the device.
So you can use it via WiFi, and you can also use it wired via an Ethernet connection now, they give us a complete HDMI cable, for output to your TV, and they give you a complete remote control, and you can see that we have everything you could normally want in a remote control, and it works pretty well.
You have your ok and back navigation, and home, mute and volume up, front track back track all these things here, takes two AAA batteries uh that are not included, so make sure you have batteries handy, but they also include this air remote control which is a very nice tanggula remote control.
It works wireless at 2.4GHz or Bluetooth 5.0, and it also includes a voice remote control, it contains a gyroscope for an air mouse, for easier navigation, and it has this voice input to search for things, also using the Android operating system, so this is the remote control that I really like to use, with the X5 Pro.
Because it just has a lot more features, and it is also included in your purchase, you can see that you have buttons dedicated to the YouTube App Store, Netflix Prime video, you of course have a dongle, which you can plug into one of the USB ports directly on the box, does not need drivers will connect automatically runs on two AAA batteries again.
So make sure that you have some on hand, but this is the remote control that I would say to just use, because it has many more features.
Now, you get a small 5 Pro branding, you get an LED, which will show your time a ventilation on the sides, you have a complete remote control USB 3.0 port, a Micro SD card slot, another USB 2.0 port, a wired gigabit Ethernet port, if you don’t want to do Wi-Fi full h HDMI 2.1 Port, an spdif audio output, your DC 5 volt input, and then of course it’s for your bluetooth WiFi SL antenna.
You’re just going to want to screw this in, and make sure it’s there, especially if you’re going to use Bluetooth devices, or if you’re going to connect this via Wi-Fi overall, just a very small profile with which is really nice, doesn’t take up much space, you can print it pretty much anywhere and it fits there well, so let’s connect it and show you what the X5 Pro is, pretty much okay.
So this is the main screen that you are going to have on the X5 Pro, you can see in the upper left corner, we have our Bluetooth icon, our Wi-Fi icon, if you want to be configured on Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet, a Kill Processes button and of course, we are going to get our date, day and time, you have full access to the Google Play Store, and so everything you want to install on the Play Store, you can install games, you can install Tik Tok, you can install tuby or whatever you want, you can install it here as long as on the Play Store, of course.
You have YouTube, we get a Cody Media, a Firefox browser preinstalled by changing your wallpapers, you have a file explorer, a list of all your applications and your settings, then we have some quick toggles, and we can add our own applications to these quick toggles, if we just want to press the plus button, it will bring up all your applications, and say I want to add something like Netflix, I will, then I go back and Netflix.
Now about the quick switchover and ready to go, so that you can have all these streaming apps, as well as Prime video Netflix, Disney plus, and other things like that.
Now looking at the settings this is built on Android OS 11, so you’re it’s going to be pretty familiar if you’re familiar with Android devices, you can see the device name factory reset, if you need your network, your model number, your operating system version which is 11, it’s running on a very old security patch level, just to be warned, but other than that you’re good to go.
Now we have display settings, and sound and storage.
Storage we have 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage, so plenty of space for applications, no problems that you can see, we can restart our location options, developer options and Bluetooth is just as under more settings, we can hide the system tray start automatically, an application or we can run a hardware monitor.
Now if we go to the remote controls and accessories, this is where you can quickly add a Bluetooth accessory, such as external speakers, or headphones or a Bluetooth mouse to facilitate navigation, or a keyboard whatever you would like.
Now under the applications, we have air screen for iOS, and mirror cast for Android devices, for casting, in this box if we want to launch our phone or device, you also have Firefox and chrome Cody Media Center, Nova Video Player, the Prime video Play Store, you have on the air updates for that, you have tars TV and Tang TV and the TA store.
You also have 2B, an explor for a file explorer, so let’s take a look at the TA store, this is where you are going to want to activate your box, which you are going to go to activation, it will download an application and activate the box.
Then you have Tang Tv, it’s their most updated TV app, and tar TV which is pretty much the same as Tang TV, it just has a lot fewer channels.
So let’s take a look at Tang TV that’s where we want to start here, so that’s what we’re going to do and Tang TV, has live TV, also has movies and series, so you can check out TV series movies, or live TV from anywhere, and we have a lot of settings, player selections, EPG parental controls.

So with that in mind, let’s go back, and let’s take a look at a live TV, we have three sections, we also have in the right corner, you go to see that we have an alert to let us know and a recording icon, because you can record the live TV, on the Box, and then play it later, if you want to catch up.
Now under live TV, we have almost 11,000 channels, so you have a ton of channels to select, you have US news, you have uh movies, you also have local news.
It has a nice sharp image, so that it works really well, and you have a ton of other options too, well like 247 channels for a lot of different things and also other countries, we have Canadian channels the UK, French channels, German channels, Spain Mexico, and as you can see, the list goes on and on.
So you have a lot of choices, with live TV.
Now, if we take a look at the movies section, we have almost 96,000 movies to choose from, they are new release movies so there are new release movies in all imaginable languages, so you have quite a few things to discover, we have other selections such as Spanish Arabic, you know other things as well French German movies and even 3D movies.
So if you like 3D movies, you can also check them out by switching to series, we have about 15,000 different TV series to watch, if you want to watch drama series, you have those family history action adventure ones, you have a ton of different TV series to choose from, and you have them again in different languages too.
Now there is only one season for The Dark Crystal, but if you go to another one that has more seasons, you will be ready to go there and be able to select them as well.
So still a ton of different configurations, that you with tang TV, to be able to watch what you want.
Now, Tars TV is pretty much exactly the same as Tang TV 22, you have TV movies and series, but there are much fewer of them in each of these things remains a very nice interface, but there are a few thousand in each instead of tens, or almost hundreds of thousands, in Tang tv22.
So that’s why I focused on Tang tv22 in this review, all in all just a very nice Android TV box from tanggula, the X5 Pro 2024 edition, definitely does the job, and you can really find almost anything you would like to watch, especially since you also have access to the Play Store, and you can install pretty much any application on the Play Store.
Conclusion :
I found that this The TV box responded quickly, even though it only has 4 GB of RAM, it is still lively and works very well overall.
I was very impressed by the quality of the live TV broadcast, and of course by the amount of content you can get from this TV box.
