Install OTTPlayer on Firestick/Android for Live TV :
I will show you how to install Ottplayer, which is a popular live TV player that can be paired with your favorite live TV service for an improved interface.
It is important to note that OttPlayer is available in the Google Play Store as you will see here.
It has more than 1 million downloads and because it is in Google Play, we can be sure that this application is 100 legal to install and use on our devices.
Now, because the Ottplayer is not available in the Amazon app Store, we have to load it sideways on our fire stick or Fire TV in this example, I am using an Amazon fire stick 4K Max, but it will work on any variant of the Amazon Fire stick Fire TV Cube or Fire TV device.
So the first step to install Ottplayer is to go to the home screen of your fire stick and hover over find, click on the bottom and click on search, and now we are going to type downloader so that you will see it appears before I finish typing click on the downloader.
Then click on the orange icon for the downloader under applications and games, wait a few seconds, click download wait a few seconds for the downloader to install on your fire stick.
Now before launching the downloader, there are a few settings that we need to change, so click on the Home button on your remote control, then on the home screen, hover over the settings icon, scroll down and click on My Fire TV.
Click about, then click Fire TV stick 4K Max.
Or whatever it says, until you see the following message no need, you are already a developer once you see this message, click back, click developer options.
Click on install unknown applications, click on downloader, and you will see that the downloader is activated to install unknown applications.
So let’s click on the home button on a remote control, and scroll down and you should see downloader under recently used applications click on it to launch it, click allow, click ok and you have now installed the download application.
So after installing the download application, what we are going to do is hover over the search box here and click on the OK button, then we are going to enter the following code 298344, check that and click ok.
Now, we will wait for a few seconds while you are redirected to the IPTV wire quick links page.
And once you are on our quick links page, the first thing I suggest you do is go up to the top, and click on this icon with the three lines.
Then click add current page to favorites, click save, and now our quick links page is saved in your favorites.
One thing I always like to do is X among these icons that appear, so to install Ottplayer, just scroll down, then you will notice Ottplayer.
So just click on it and then it will start downloading, so wait a few seconds while the Ottplayer is downloading, click install, then the application is installed, so before launching, I’m going to click done, then one thing I always like to do is delete the installation files, so click Delete.
Click delete again and now, hold down the home button of your remote click apps, and now scroll down and you should find Ott player in our list of apps and channels.
So that I click on the options button with the three lines of your remote control, click move and now I will drop Ottplayer to the front of my application list click ok to drop it.
Now click on the home button and you will notice Ott the drive is exactly where I placed it.
So before launching Ott player or any live TV player in general, I always make sure that I am connected to a surfsharkvpn VPN, is our number one recommended VPN on the IPTV feed and personally, I just don’t trust third-party app developers, or I don’t trust my ISP.
I can make sure that my Internet connection is secure.
So once I’m connected to surfshark, I’m going to launch Ottplayer and we’re just going to wait a few seconds for it to launch, then we’re going to click Start.
The settings now, in this example, I’m not going to associate a live TV service, but if you had to, you would just click on import playlist.
Click Add.
You can now create a direct m3u URL link or you can download an m3u URL file.
So usually I always have links provided by live TV services or applications like Samsung TV in addition, if you click on the direct link, click authorize, click add, then you will notice, that you have the option to add the m3u URL link and also name it as you wish and you would click add.
This is how you would download an m3u playlist, from any live TV service to the Ottplayer.
We can customize the language of the video scale of a media player, and just a few other options.
