The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra if you like big tablets, this is one of the largest on the market, and although it almost looks like last year’s, it has some nice changes under the hood, which make this already great tablet even better.

I have to congratulate Samsung for including the S Pen, I hope they never stop including this, because with the tablet so big, and the built-in AI features, it is very useful that I will show you a little later.

If you look at the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and the Tab S10 Ultra together, they look exactly the same, so what has really changed well on the outside not much, they are both made of aluminum, but the new one is supposed to be 10% more durable, but other than that the cameras the ports the speakers the display it all remains the same.

But the biggest change that we are getting this year, is what powers the tablet last year, it was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, but Samsung pulled a wildcard this year, and put the mediatech dimensity 9300 processor, more inside and that’s huge because I believe that this is Samsung’s first flagship tablet, which was powered by mediatech.

It is a supercharged version of the dimensity 9300, which we saw in some smartphones earlier this year, and I have just returned from Berlin where xiaomi launched its flagship, more affordable the 14t and 14t pro, which is also powered by the dimensity 9300 plus processor.

So it’s nice to see in a flagship tablet like this, so how does the new one compare to last year’s Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, when it comes to processor performance, you get a nice bump on geek pinch 6, there is a modest increase in single core.

But the multicore is where you gain the most 5500, in the middle of the last generation and almost 7200 on the S10 Ultra tab, which is respectable, the GPU also got a nice increase of about 9500 on the S9 Ultra tab, on the open the CL benchmark, and more than 12,000 on the S10 Ultra tab.

But check out the Vulcan GPU Benchmark Score, about the same 9663 on the tab S9 Ultra but 14,236 on the tab S10 Ultra, so you get a nice performance gain on all levels, and if you choose the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 plus, smaller and cheaper, you also get a mediatech dimensity 9300 plus chipset there too.

I’ve been using it since last week and I can’t lie, this tablet is big and I don’t think you feel it much in the landscape, because it feels more natural in your hands when you use it, but when I hold it vertically, that’s where I feel the size the most, it’s big and it almost feels like you’re holding a laptop screen in your hands.

Because you are basically, and it’s a little uncomfortable to hold it this way, especially with one hand, but the tablet is so razor-thin that it’s not heavy at all.

So that’s what’s going on here, it’s compared to the 13-inch iPad Pro, and you can just see how much bigger it is, but I absolutely love the screen of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, 14.6-inch, 2x AMOLED Dynamic screen.

And it’s 120 HZ so it’s nice and fluid, and it’s the ultimate screen to watch content on the colors, are great the blacks are so inked.

So if you are a Samsung owner, you already know that they make some of the best screens in the business, the only reason you might want to upgrade is the new anti-glare screen.

It is similar to the Galaxy s24 Ultra screen, although it does not remove all reflections, it really does a great job, I personally love this feature, the performance has been there so far, but one of the best things is that the tablet stays cold, while you watch streaming movies, and play games.

On the top right, the mediatech dimensity 9300 plus, has built-in Wi-Fi 7, so you can expect fast networking speeds, depending on the speed of your connection, I have the lowest model with 256 GB of storage.

But it’s cool because there is always a Micro SD card slot, which is great, but there is a difference between the storage models, the 256 and 512, get 12 GB of RAM while the 1 TB model gets 16 GB of RAM.

But that’s about the only difference, but even on the model I have with multitasking, I don’t have any performance problems, that’s what I like about Samsung devices as a whole, you can open up to three applications at once, and you can resize them so that you can definitely stay productive, however you want.

For me the problem with more windows, it means that I can have more social media open at once.

Personally, I like to use it more like a laptop, because the screen is so big, a keyboard case of some kind, is definitely a must or at least a case with a kickstand, anyway to support this thing, it is the Samsung slim book cover keyboard and by design.

This thing is pretty cool, because it fits perfectly on the tablet, it’s very thin when it’s closed, and it also has a cool flap, where the pin can be stored with easy access, but here’s why I don’t recommend it, I’m not a big fan of how it feels, especially when typing, since the slim profile, gives you more key movement than expected.

But I don’t find it to be the most comfortable typing experience, and it doesn’t have a trackpad at all, but the great thing is that I know they are coming out with an updated version with a trackpad, but if you already have a keyboard case for the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, you can use it.

Because the design has not changed, and it is backward compatible, so you can save a little money there, but with the new keyboards you get a dedicated AI key, which I like and you can choose between Bixby and Google Gemini.

But I opted for Gemini, because Gemini live is great, I know some people may be wondering if there are any changes in the Samsung experience, due to the chipset change, all the features of Samsung AI remain plus a few others.

I think sketch to image is one of the most useful features on this form factor, because the display is so large, if you don’t know what it is, you can sketch any idea you might have, and it uses AI to bring this drawing to life, and you even have choices with styles with this generated image.

So I think this is an interesting feature, which also extends to photos that you may have already seen on the latest Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

There is an AI button that allows you to delete objects, and use gener to fill in, to edit this photo as you wish, you can even draw things, and make them come to life on your photos, so you can have a lot of fun with it, you can also translate messages in real time, live translation in interpreter mode, you can summarize notes and document,s so much more that you can do with these Galaxy AI features, with the screen so big.

The good thing is that I was able to increase the graphics settings, and push them to the maximum allowed 60 frames per second, and it went well, and so I was pleasantly surprised by the gaming performance.

I made the mistake of letting my daughter try this game, and she literally played it for hours and hours, so I’m surprised at how well the battery held up, considering the load it represents on the GPU.

I took a screenshot, right after with the screen brightness increased, and playing genin impact directly for three hours and 7 minutes, it took 61% of the battery, which is not bad at all, of course the mediatech 9300 plus dimension, is powerful enough to run your casual games.

But I must say that holding a tablet and such a beautiful landscape, that the screen can become uncomfortable after a while, so I would suggest a case or a keyboard case, to support it and use a Bluetooth controller, I know that many of you play pubg and Call of Duty mobile, and I really suck at these games.

But I had to try them, but they worked fine while I was playing them, so for me who am a casual mobile game player, I found the performance to be good on this.

So I don’t think you will be disappointed at all, I know that some of you might be concerned about the optimizations of some games, but that is the reason why the processor change this year is so important, because more devices powered by mediatech.

The more game developers optimize their games for their chipsets, so that as consumers we win I think the more choices we will have of processors, in these devices and certainly, at different prices, they are very important for the future of technology, so let’s hope that this will help to lower the price as their partnership matures.

Speaking of pricing, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra starts at $ 1.99, for the one I showed you, today with 256 GB of storage, but can go up to 1,600.

If you go for the 1 tbte I don’t recommend because you have a micro SD card slot in all models, but Samsung has a ton of commercial offers and incentives that make up to $800 off.

The S10 Ultra is also worth a pass, I would say that if you already have a Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, and you are satisfied with it, I don’t think it’s worth jumping unless, you need more power with the dimensity 9300 plus retarder, and maybe this anti-reflective screen.

But if you’re on to something before the tab S9, I think it’s worth an upgrade depending on what you’re doing with your tablet.

Conclusion :

But overall, I think the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is a solid tablet, the biggest and nastiest tablet, has improved even more and if you are not a fan of the Apple ecosystem or the iPad, this is the best Android tablet that money can buy.
