Magabox MG4 Max Android IPTV Box for Streaming :
Today I have a product from magabox, it is the mg4 max IPTV Android 12 streaming TV box, which has a lot to offer up to a resolution of 6K, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and much more.
Okay, that’s all we get once we get out of the box, we have a user guide for the mg4 Max, it shows you all your entries on the box itself.
Now there is a Mali quad core t720 mp2 at 600 MHz 4 GB of DDR3 memory, then for storage we have 128 GB of emmc storage, this also has a 1GB bluo 5.0 Ethernet port, dual-band WiFi for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and on HDMI support up to 6K at 60 frames per second.
You get a charger, it’s going to be a two-pin, two-barrel charger plug, and what we want to do is just take a quick look at the charger specifications, so that you know that your output is going to be 5 volts at 2 amps at 13 Watts.
You get an HDMI cable to plug in, no matter which TV or monitor you will be using the streaming box on, they also include it in the box for you.
Now take a look at the Box itself, it has a full aluminum shell, an LCD panel on the front, this will have a red or blue LED, indicating if it is in standby mode or turned on with the power supply at the bottom.
You have four beautiful feet, you have two full USB ports, a Micro SD card slot to expand the storage of this 128 GB even more, and you have a reset hole, in case you need to factory reset manually on the side.
You have two antennas, and this will support your Bluetooth 5.0, and your dual-band Wi-Fi you have an IR input, a pdif S input, AV input, and a full HDMI you will have a 1 GB terrestrial port, and your input for your DC power supply, can have a little ventilation on the side overall very nice, build with an aluminum shell.
I really like it, doesn’t take up much space on your desktop, so you won’t have to worry about it.
Now they include a remote control, and this is a very versatile function remote control, this has a voice function, with the blue icon in the middle.
So that you can do a voice search, you can add favorites, control your volume have dedicated buttons for YouTube Prime video, Disney plus, Netflix, and you have a mouse cursor, with right there next to your jog wheel, and speaking of the jog wheel the left, and the right between the ok buttons.
This is what you will hold down, to connect it via Bluetooth, is a dual IR or Bluetooth connection, or both, and it runs on two AAA batteries that are not included, so just make sure you have a few on hand.
So let’s take a look at the main screen for the maga box, you can see it in the upper right corner, we have a few different things like your clock, your Bluetooth, the Wi-Fi again, this has a dual band Wi-Fi connection, or you can connect it via Ethernet.
You have Chrome as your default browser, and of course full access to the Google Play Store, so you can add any application you find on the Google Play Store to this Android TV box as well.
It’s a good thing to have as always, you have YouTube, Local mirrorcast updates, and a memory cleaner.
Now we have three things, which I want to talk about live VOD and replay, but they also have their own app store.
So this is where you can get some of the applications, such as Cinema HD, TV-mate, Mondo globo, and of course the three that are the key to the box, maga, maga replay, maga VOD and maga TV.
You want to make sure that these are installed, and then we will take a closer look.
Now, the first thing that you’re going to want to do, is to go to settings, it is where you go to configure your Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
Bluetooth is an important element, because what you want to do is pair a new device, and connect the remote control via Bluetooth.
The left and right buttons on the remote control itself, will put it into pairing mode, and you can see that it appears as a Bluetooth remote control now, it will work without Bluetooth but you somehow want to have it connected in Bluetooth, because then you don’t have to depend on the line of sight.
So if it’s you know hidden somewhere behind a monitor, or something like that, it will work via Bluetooth and it works much better that way.
The three applications that I want to focus today on the live maga application, VOD maga and replay, so if we go live, what will happen is that it will connect us, and that will be where we will have all our live channels.
I’m on the channel, and as we take a look, these are all our channels and there are literally thousands of channels, which you can access from this.
And they all appear quite quickly, and have a very good quality as far as the ones I have already tested, you can see that we have MTV, we have QVC, you have tons and tons, of channels to choose from.
Now at the top you will see everything and you will also see the favorites, by clicking on one of the stars, will add them to your favorites list, so if you want to add one to your favorites list, it will appear under favorites, you have network TV.
So if you want to see your local news, you can also check, if you have sports networks, you know if I wanted to check a specific sports network, I can do that too.
I also have 24 channels, which will play certain types of channels genres 247, so it’s kind of interesting, if you like a certain thing, you have a full house, Happy Days, Harry Potter, we can add that very quickly and you can see it, it happens very quickly with very good quality you also have PPV events, or NBA pay-per-view events, all your MLB sports, NFL, NCAAB NHL music.
Then, we have other countries, such as Brazil and the countries of latinos, we have Canada, Asia, we have the Uk, we have of others, and we also Europe.
let’s take a look at the video application, on demand itself, it is an interesting application, which will allow you to search for movies, or a recommended TV series, and you can get them on demand.
So it’s not going to be live TV, it’s just looking for everything that would interest you from the most recent to movie TV series, and things like that.
So there are a bunch of them, which you can consult if you want, really easy to search, you have a search, you have favorites, and you have a history.
So you can go back to the ones you’ve already watched, so say I want to watch an episode of Friends, or something like that, I can click on Friends, I can select the season I want, then I can select playback, and playback will start this season.
So it’s really easy to do and just go in, you can see it loaded pretty well, pretty quickly and have no problems with reading the last one, which I want to cover, is the proofreading app and it’s a great app to have, if you’re looking for something with the last seven days.
So up to a week, if I missed a TV show three days ago, I can go there and I can select the day I wanted to select, and I can go down, and I can see what was played that day.
Now it doesn’t have all the channels like among the thousands of channels, but it has a good selection of channels, which you can go back, and review some things up to 7 days, so you know something that you may have missed.
Now this is a great feature to have again, if I want to select something from Cartoon Network.
Now YouTube is another useful thing, integrated just above no problems, with YouTube playback, and you will be able to see that we have a very good quality on YouTube, the image is superb everything looks great, has no problems.
With YouTube so it still has a nice clean look, based on Android TV 12, and the live VOD and replay applications, maga really work very well.
Of course is another bonus, so you can pretty much add any app you want.

So there you have it, this is my opinion on the magaBox mg4 Max, there is a lot to do 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, voice-activated Bluetooth remote control overall, just a nice configuration with thousands of channels and movies, which you can watch.
