Android TV Box : SuperBox Elite Ultra vs Tanggula X5 Pro vs vSeeBox Pro Max:
If you are looking to buy an Android TV box, there are so many offers on the market, that you might be lost, so to help you choose, I am going to compare the most recent offers, and the most relevant on the market today, and these come from three well-established brands.
So I have the VSee box Pro Max, the tangula X5 Pro, and the super Box Elite Ultra, I’m going to show you closely their ports and their build quality, I’m going to talk about their specifications, and I’m going to talk about their applications, and also I’m going to perform a performance test, speed test.
So for what comes in the box, all TV boxes come with a power brick, manual remote controls, and an HDMI cable.
Now for the remote controls there is a difference, for the VSee box, it has an infrared remote control and it has an air mouse remote control, and it is a Wi-Fi, it needs a dungle it is inside and the same for the tanggula X5 Pro.
So it has an infrared remote control, and it has an air mouse remote control which is Wi-Fi too, and for the superbox elite Ultra, it has a remote control which is a Bluetooth remote control.
First start with the build quality, so :
The super Box Elite Ultra, is made of aluminum, and it feels really well built the tanggula X Pro is made of metal too, I don’t like the fact that the antenna is loose, I tried to fix it, I couldn’t fix it.
The VSee box Pro is made of plastic, but it is really very well assembled and everything is solid.
Now among these three TV boxes, the only one that does not have a manufacturing quality problem is a Vsee box Pro Max, I have already talked about the antenna of the X5 Pro from tanggula, and for the super box Box Elite Ultra, it has a small problem with the insertion of the TF card.
So if you place the TF card in an angle that is not pointing down, the TF card can get inside, and it can be lost, so this is something that also needs to be taken into account.
Now, apart from the infrared port which is additional on the super box 8 Ultra, all the TV boxes have the same ports, so on the back, you can find the DC 5vt input, you can find an HDMI output, optical audio output, AV output, and a 1 gbps terrestrial port, and they also all have a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, and also an ATF card input, as far as the specifications are concerned.
I’ll start with the specifications common to the three TV boxes :
All of them have the following specifications, they have an armarm cortex a53 processor, they have the Mali g31 GPU, they have 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, they have 1 GB per second Ethernet port, they have a dual-band Bluetooth 5 Wi-Fi connection.x, and voice commands.
Now for the specifications that are different, the VSee box Pro Max, has 32 GB of internal storage, while the tanggula X5 Pro, and the superbox elite Ultra, have 128 GB of internal storage, the maximum display resolution of the VSee box, and the super box is 6K at 60 HZ, while the X5 Pro can go up to 8K at 24 Hz, and the Android version of these TV boxes is different.
So the VSee box has Android 10, the tanggula X5 pro has Android 11, and the superbox elite Ultra has Android 12, and Android 12 is of course better than the other two.
Now in terms of budget the VSee box, and the tanggula have almost the same budget, the super box Ultra is a little more expensive.
All TV boxes have Google Play Store, you can install the applications that you can find in the Google Play Store on one of the boxes.
Now, some newer applications will not work on older Android versions, such as for example the VSee box TV, box a Android 10, and some newer applications will not work for out-of-the-box content.
The super Box Elite Ultra, has the richest content closely followed by the tanggula X5 Pro, and in third place is a VSee box Pro Max interface, sage the best interface in my opinion.

Now when I come from the 3D Mark Benchmark, and I did the test three times, to make sure it is correct, and I run it on TV boxes without any application installed.
The tanggula TV box outperformed the other two TV boxes, by a huge margin, it scored a huge 593 on the benchmark test of the 3D brand, and the second was the Super elite Ultra box, which scored 425 points only and that’s 168 points less, than the tanggula X5 Pro, and the last was the VSee box, which scored 414 points only for the speed test, real world.
The good performance of the tanggula X5 Pro, was confirmed by launching the tub application 2 seconds faster, than the super box and 3 seconds faster that I performed the Internet speed test, while connecting the three TV boxes to the same Wi-Fi network, with the same load on the Wi-Fi network.
The tanggula TV box, also surpassed the other two TV boxes, by a good margin, I have an Internet speed of 120 megabits per second for download, and 20 megabits per second for download, and while the tanggula took advantage of this speed, and a little more the other two TV boxes, did not take advantage of this speed.
The VSee box was not far behind, but the super elite Ultra box was surprisingly very far behind.
Conclusion :
Now which TV box would I recommend? and why if it was my money would I go with the tanggula X5 Pro?
For the following reasons :
It has a very rich content, it is a very good quality / price ratio, and it is the fastest of the three TV boxes.
As a second choice, I would go with the super elite Ultra box, because it has the most content on the three TV boxes, but it’s a bit expensive in my opinion.
And in the third choice I would go with the VSee Pro Max box, it has good content, but it is less than the super box and it is less than the tanggula X5 Pro, and it is the slowest of the three TV boxes, and also its price is almost like the tanggula X5 Pro.
